    Silly question

    Sun Apr 12, 2020 11:45 pm

    Hi.
This may sound like a really stupid question but i dont know who else to ask.

I am now 242 days clean off meth. I feel good but my mouth is still hurting like I was on meth. I would grind my teeth and my tongue would get all cut up - meth mouth I think they call it. Anyway, that hasn't stopped. My tongue is so sore - it's always rubbing against my teeth.
Can anyone help? Suggest how i can fix this?

Hi @apples123 good to hear from you again and especially that your 242 days clean, that's amazing!

I'm not much help for the teeth problem so I hope others on here might have more wisdom, or visiting your GP or dentist wouldn't be a bad idea. But I will say teeth grinding is often a symptom of stress and anxiety, and the journey of becoming clean certainly isn't easy so this might be why it has continued on for you?
