Hi my online name is Malika now, it recently was changed from Angelbrite. Malika means angel in Gor.
I am here because I really need someone to talk to at times as I am pretty isolated and in the worst relapse I've ever had atm, but working towards ending that and when I do I will be returning to recovery with 100% focus, determination and willingness. this should be any day now so I am hoping to get to know some like-minded ppl and we can support each other...
Thanks for having me. The self assessment tool and the meth facts and everything you have going on in the site is nothing short of sublime and that its free as well is amazing
Most apps or sites like these costs HEAPS
once again thanks for having me
Much luv and respect

Hi Malika, and welcome!

It sounds like you have a lot to share, and that this will be a perfect community for what you're working on and towards right now.
Thank you so much for joining us :)

I truely look forward to reading more about yourself and your experiences soon.
Also looking forward to seeing this community bloom with people who understand your experience and can assist in minimising that isolation you mentioned, and that so many relate to.

If you'd like to, you're welcome to also start a new topic of your own about your experiences.

Lovely to e-meet you :) Vik, community mgr

Hi everyone :)
Ive dropped in a few times since receiving the email about the forum being open, just doing the forum stalking thing and feeling safe from behind my keyboard. I felt a bit hesitant in posting, not exactly sure why, but I thought maybe by saying Hi I'd get over my nervousness.
My hobby is photography...well it's probably gone past a hobby now as I've been invited to exhibit my photos at different places for the last few years. I've got exhibits coming up in February and July. I love landscapes and where I live offers up a different perspective every day. I'm not into photographing people unless it is doing candid stuff but I've have been invited to shoot events on occasions. I've got a couple of people who inspire me photographically...one I've known for about 10 years and another only a couple of years. They do totally different work, one shoots aerial photos, from planes and choppers and things, and his work is considered abstract, the other does photo manipulations, taking photos and then making a surreal image, photo art type stuff. I see their work and hope that maybe one day I can get to their level.
I've joined because I need to give up drinking. For the last few months my drinking has become out of control. I don't know when to stop. It has affected my personal relationships, my housemate moved out (although she has moved back in during the last week), and I broke up with my girlfriend. I know I need to get my life into gear, just not entirely sure how to do that at this point in time.
Looking forward to meeting people and chatting about ways we can help each other through the difficult times ahead

Hi guys.
I love looking after plants. Look foreward to one day having my own garden to tend. Hi Malika Vik and CatsEye..
Wow photography sounds great and sounds like you're really passionate about it.
I enjoy painting and drawing and want to get into it more after many years away from it. I'm inspired by Vincent Van Gogh. Love his life story as well as his paintings.
I've always wanted to learn how to surf but never got around to it. It's on my to do list though.
Here for connection and support and to learn how to connect with and support other people better. Alcohol and Nicotine are my poisons that i want to completely stop.
Thanks for for setting up this forum.
Have a great day!

Hi Phod :) Nice to meet you :)
Plant are funky :) Have you got a favourite plant? I used to be a black thumb LOL any plant I was left in charge of died :( In the last couple of years though I have managed to keep some alive, so maybe now I'm a bit between the green and black ;) LOL. For me natives seem to be the best.
I dont know a lot about Van Goch, of course I've seen images of his works, and enjoy looking at them. They give me ideas for still life photos. How long has it been since you have drawn or painted?
@Malika
Nice to meet you too :) I don't really know anything about Gor, could you tell us a bit more about it?

Hey everyone I'm Erin just thought I'd drop in and introduce myself. I've had a problem with drinking for quite some time now and today I decided enough is enough! I can easily say that the worst moments in my life happened while I was under the influence. I'm ready for change I'm over hurting the people who love me most. I'm glad i have found a forum where I can express my thoughts seek advice and share my journey. I don't really have any hobbies but love free diving for abalone and crayfish I love to hunt and fish to provide for my family.

Hi from me, Ten

Wed Feb 13, 2019 12:57 pm

Hi all,
You name here is Ten, don't ask why as it probably wont make sense.
I stumbled across the site and forum when searching for help with my addiction. I've been on and off meth for years and am currently in my longest relapse of 18 months which I am less than impressed with myself.
Hobbies or things I enjoy, getting in to nature, experimenting with photography and recently flying drones which I really enjoy. I also enjoy cycling.

I'm hoping this area can offer support to me and I hope I can offer the same to others.

I look forward to reading posts and hopefully chatting to people

Cheers
