Congratulations @Alvarosyd and @Minnie mouse!!! Hat's off to you both. 8-)

Those are all great things to look forward to @Alvarosyd. Kudos on not celebrating with a drink. Good job! :)

Bravo @Minnie mouse, finally back to work. I'm really glad for you. :)

Okay everyone, it's time for us to share 3 things we're looking forward to! remember these can be log term or short term. Really anything you're excited abut, no matter how big or small!

I've been run down lately, so I'm looking forward to feeling better so I can go for a run!
One of my friends has a new job, so I'm looking forward to being able to get them a nice gift to celebrate!
I'm still slowly saving for a car, haha, so that's my long term thing I'm pretty excited about!

    @Spankypompay @dperry586 @Katiee @Simply me @Alvarosyd @Minnie mouse @Deyfhob @ScorpionPW @PnorkelPW @Peace Dove

I'd love to hear from you guys! :D

That’s great to hear that you have a goal to work towards! New car feeling is such a good one!

    Im looking forward to:

    1. My interview this week for a promotion! Hopefully it goes well

    2. Paying off my credit card! One thing I have done since I stopped drinking is to go back to my statements and see how much money I spent on alcohol every weekend and I put that money towards my credit card which was used to buy a lot of that alcohol in the past. It’s almost paid off!

    3. Completing my 100th pilates class on Thursday next week!

@Alvarosyd Thank you, I've never had a car before so I'm excited!

Good luck with the interview, let us know how it all goes. A promotion is an amazing thing!

That sounds like such a sensible way to manage your finances. It's also a really good way to see tangible change in your life since you've quit drinking. Good job on almost paying it off! That must be a fantastic feeling?

also great job on 100 pilaties classes! that takes a lot of determination :D

@Simply me @Alvarosyd @Minnie mouse @Lhiver @ScorpionPW @TheDees love reading this.........thanks for sharing. As much as people talk about "A day at a time" if I don't have things on the horizon I get a bit lost and it starts to affect my general wellbeing

What I'm looking forward to right now..........

Having next week off work..........It's been 6 months at a new job and the last two months has been spent doing 50-60 hour weeks. It'll be a week with my daughter, some fun, some work around the house and some downtime

Today is the winter solstace so I'm looking forward to the days getting longer and Spring getting closer

Getting my exercise routine back on track and the feeling good that comes with it

    2. We've had no lights in my flat due to water damage and the electrician is coming today. I'm excited to have light again after 2 weeks haha

    3. I'm hoping we have a nice summer and am really looking forward to some warmer weather, just to help lift everyone's mood!
