No more comfortably numb
Hi all, so its been 9 days since I last had cannabis. Today I'm feeling pretty good, I've been keeping myself occupied by visiting family and a close friend. I will be having a face to face counseling session tomorrow and my employer will be getting feedback from that. I'm hoping that I will be able to get back to work next week. Still having up and down days but so far no tears today
I am so grateful that I found you guys, being able to share my feelings without worrying about upsetting you is so good. It's so good to actually be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel finally. I know I still have a way to go but I am committed to having control over my choices, and feeling the joy that I have been denying myself of for so long. Thank you for being here

Hey @Minnie mouse,
I know it's been a fair while since you posted so just thought I would touch base, say hi and see how you're going
I was always found your posts really inspiring and I could relate alot as cannabis was my drug of choice and I know how insideous it can be.
It's so great to see that you found the forums so helpful and that you started seeing a counselor too.
Light at the end of the tunnel, what a feeling. Hope...it can be a very powerful thing and I know for me, once I felt hope it was easier to get through the really difficult times because something in me believed it could get better.
It would be great to hear how you're going with everything and see where you're at
