    Cocaine addiction

    Sun Sep 15, 2019 10:46 am

Hello I am new to this site and have been battling with my cocaine habits for over a year now. I want to stop but I have that devil inside my head telling me one more line won’t hurt and I’ve got no control over it. I am surrounded by great friends who know I have a coke problem but they don’t really know how bad I am on it. I still function every day I go to work I pay my way but I am not going anywhere in life.I don’t steal or jeopardise my priorities yet. I can feel my self slipping down the dark road of chronic addiction and coke abuse. I don’t know who to talk to or how to open up to someone and get help. Cause I know deep down I need help with my cocaine abuse. If someone could give me some advice or someone who can relate to my situation. Financially the coke is putting me back wards. I know every time when I roll a note and have coke on a plate ready to snort, deep down I know it’s fucking me up and I’ll be honest I am chasing that feeling of being coked up. I know it’s only a temporary problem that I can fix and live a better life. Could someone please talk to me about it

I know it takes strength to chat to someone about getting help, but it can be the beginning of a really great thing. Is there someone around you that you feel you could open up to?

    Take care

I shudder when I think of the money I have wasted on cocaine over the last 15 years....I reckon I could've bought a house.
The hard thing with coke is that it creeps up so slowly....I've been using on and off for 15 years and most people would never know.
It's only now that it's becoming harder and harder to disguise

    Thanks for sharing !
It can be really difficult to cope with especially on your own. What have been your triggers do you think?

Anyone have any thoughts or words of advice to share with Deep Blue?

Alcohol seems to be the catalyst for me and many other people I know! I do like a drink though, its almost as though you have to be completely sober and clean or you just have that fuck it moment! 3 or 4 beers and the consequences dont even apply...
