    Hi @Gizelle and anyone else who might read this thread. I hope you can find the counsellor that works for you. It sounds like you've made some pretty good inroads into your recovery but in my experience it's not something that can be done alone. It takes help from a number of places and counselling is a great resource to use.

    Although you've had some bad experiences try not to give up on it. Keep searching and you'll find the counsellor that works for you..........don't give up till you do. Same as a GP, a Psych, a sponsor or a friend. Don't settle for someone who you don't connect with or you don't feel is helping you. Change counsellors until you find the one that works but don't give up!
