    Thought this may be of interest. Check it out on You Tube. A collection of videos which explain how addiction is a disease. I think the information helps us help ourselves - knowing the science behind it.

    Thanks so much @CATNAP for sharing this.

    I remember I saw this for the first time a couple of years ago and just thought it was the best way of explaining addiction to somebody who doesn't suffer from it themselves.

    I think I might watch it again after seeing this :)

    @CATNAP @ScorpionPW Pleasure Unwoven probably had the biggest effect on me in rehab. I watched this and suddenly sooooo much made sense...........suddenly I began to understand that addiction wasn't my fault. There were so many other factors at play and it explained why I'd been stuck for so long. When I saw this I began to be able to understand why the solutions they were giving me in rehab would work and what I had to watch out for.

    I've shown it to countless people in the years since and the response has always been positive
