3 things I'm grateful for today:

    - Technology that allows me to communicate with people overseas, interstate and in other places I can't reach physically right now

    - Being able to take a step back, a breath and gain perspective

    - Friends to talk to

Three things I'm grateful for today............

    - Perspective

    - Life

    - Recovery

A number of things have cropped up this week.............pre recovery I would have handled them a whole lot differently.............instead I've been able to sit in discomfort..............................I'm exactly where I'm meant to be

    1. My phone calls with my Nonno (grandpa). I never thought that I'd develop this friendship with him.
    2. This online community for giving me something to look forward to.
    3. My longest friend for making me go for a walk today, even though we are 600kms apart.

    Hi everyone,

It's time for our fortnightly '3 things to be grateful for' activity.

    3 things I'm grateful for:
    1) The Sun coming out throughout this weekend and the warmth its provided
    2) Someone I care about putting in the effort to improve
    3) Last night's dinner with my most recently acquired group of friends

@WildeReformed, Nonnos are the best! :D

    What are 3 things you're grateful for @PnorkelPW @ScorpionPW @Babushka @CassSass17 @Simonek1 @Purevil92 @Tsuki11 @RBM @Paddy31 @Newlife21 @Barbara-Jo @Charligirl @Littlewombat @mooseowl65

This is my favourite thing to switch my mindset

Three things I’m grateful for today are:

    - Sunshine!!! So good today! (We don’t get much of it in a Melbourne winter)
    - Physio who provided me some relief
    - I think I finally stopped the possums living in my roller door!!

Thanks for the reminder @Peace Dove, and I second that @PnorkelPW, gratitude is one my favorite things to practice regularly.

    - That I've found a better rhythm with work after feeling disjointed working from home so much.

    - That my son got a spot at this great alternative school that is not easy to get into and that he is excited to start there.

    - That I have so much comfort and peace in my life.

Love having things to look forward to and next weekend that’s:

    - Having my daughter for the weekend and maybe some tenpin bowling, skateboarding and soccer
    - Getting someone round to quote me on some long required repairs to the house
    - Getting into the garden to tidy it up…………after a trip to Bunnings for some supplies and a couple of snags in bread!!!

    - That my sons new school remains open through lockdowns.

    - That I faced up to a really difficult conversation I had to have and the outcome was better than what I could have possible imagined and as a result I have maintained a great friendship.

    - That even though we are in and out of lockdown which is a struggle, I have a secure job and don't have to worry about having what I need to get through unlike so many others.

    - The fact that I'm willing to address some things within myself that I've been putting on the back burner for a long time. It feels relieving to be commited to changing things knowing that I will get closer to the person I want to be.

    - Even though I make mistakes I have strong support and a safe, secure life that I have built for myself to fall back on. Even when things are really hard I know that I will be ok.

    - That I have such a great job that I get to do even through the pandemic, which is more than a lot of people can say.

    - That it's Friday tomorrow!

    - That I've got some brand new bamboo sheets that I can't wait to climb into :D

    - That I've felt some real relief and peace today after navigating some really challenging situations in one of the relationships in my life this week.

    - Plumbing - we were without it for a couple of days this week and you don't realise what you've got until it's gone!

    - Birdsong - I live ina pretty bushy area and as I sit here I can hear the morning calls of dozens of birds, probably 10 or so different types.

    - Indoor plants - I've been bringing plants into my house from outside over the past couple of weeks and now I'm getting a bit of an obsession with it. They make such a difference to the look and feel of my living space.

@UltraViolet indoor plants really make the space so nice feeling! I currently have 7 on my desk haha. I'm glad to hear you've got your plumbing back, that sounds like an unpleasant few days!

    - today I'm grateful for the flowers starting to come out. Even though I have awful hay fever, it's lovely to see some colour!

    - being able to go on nice walks with my friends and enjoy the sunshine we're starting to get!

    - my local coffee shop for remember my order, it sounds bit silly but it's nice feeling familiar somewhere, and being able to stop and have a chat with them every morning 8-)
