3 things to look forward to

Looking forwards stops me looking backwards and as the saying goes..........if you're driving along looking in the rearview mirror chances are you're going to crash

Three things I'm looking forward to are............

- Taking my daughter to see a play in a few weeks. it's amurder mystery and she wants to be an FBI agent so I figure this can be some training

- A staycation in the city over the next few days

- Cleaning out my mum's place in a few weeks. She just needs to clear some stuff out that's accumulated over the years and I like seeing the memories

- Catching up with a friend for dinner and a meeting tomorrow night

- Watching the UFC on Sunday with one of my best mates

- Having a child free night with my partner on Saturday night

3 things I'm looking forward to are................

- Dinner with a friend tomorrow night who's back from overseas for a brief window

- Lunch with an old work crew in a few weeks..........we call it family lunch........it's hard to find a bunch of friends like this crew

- Footy season!! Can the Cats defend our premiership? I'm hoping to go with family to round one..........I just gotta get it organised

I’m continuing to try and look forwards so here’s three things I’m looking forward to………….

- My neck and shoulder fully healing.........it's been 6 weeks and it's still going to be a while longer but I'm looking forward to it

- Confest is coming up at Easter and I’m looking forward to switching off from technology and getting spiritual for a few days

- This weekend just to get some house jobs done like a good spring clean and some weeding. I always feel better after that

Hi everyone, I thought this week we could share three things we're looking forward to! This is my final day in the forums and I want to also say thank you and best wishes to everyone here. It has been a privilege to be here and see everyone's journeys, high and lows.

1. A new start in a new role, this is an exciting step, but I will miss being here

2. going away at the end of this year. I haven't seen my family in about five years!

3. sticking with my new habits which will help my health. This year has had some ups and downs health wise but I feel like Im on the right track now.

I was talking to a friend yesterday about this actually and I realised I don’t have many things planned for late this year. I feel like I might need to look at that because it took me a bit of time to think about these three things to look forward to………….and I feel like what I’ve written doesn’t overly excite me. Time to book some concerts or something I reckon…………

For now though, three things I’m looking forward to are……….

- A week camping at a festival over Easter……..this one does excite me because it’s all about self-care and switching off

- Hearing if my home loan gets approved so I can continue with renovations I had to put on hold. Having them incomplete is having a negative impact on me

- Getting to some more footy games even though we lost this weekend

- Thought I’d add a fourth for good measure…………booking some things to look forward to

Hi @Lhiver it's sad to see you leaving the forums in your professional capacity, perhaps you might feel like participating casually in the future? I hope you enjoy your new role.

Three things that I've been grateful for this week.
1. My boyfriend. He really means the world to me. He makes me feel happier than any drug ever could.
2. Zumba class tonight. It's important for me to have that physical outlet and something to look forward to.
3. Australian mandarin season is approaching. I've had a few really great early-season Aussie Mandas. They really put the American mandarins that have been in stores over the off-season to shame. Really looking forward to eating some more. I love fresh fruit.

Ok...
1) P!nk mosh pit tickets, oh scuse me floor pass tickets...I'm not so grand at either travel or crowds, so this would be HUGE but there you go! Something to work towards and I busted out in a crazy unbudgeted for moment ha ha

2)Finding a new home I love as much as current one. Been given intentions from owners of Funky Pad, their DAs have come through so my feline familiar n me are moving on, hopefully not too far. After being rent refugees to get here, for 6 months, want to stay in locale...

3) Picnic and swim today with a girl friend who drives, I don't so can head to special series of waterholes for swim n water immersions.

And for good measure, 4) my second 'feature artist' exhibition being hung in a local artists coop in September
