Three things I’m grateful for today are:
- Whatever power it is that’s helped me drag myself out of bed each day this week and keep going. It’s been a really tough week for a lot of reasons but staying in bed wouldn’t have been the answer. As hard as it is, it’s important to keep pushing at times. It can be hard to know when to keep pushing and when to stop at times though.
- For the patience to take my time before responding to people. If I’d responded earlier in the week I could quite easily have made things worse. Now I can see better ways to communicate and approach things
- For the roof over my head, the food in my belly, and the clothes on my back. It’s important to recognise and appreciate the simple things because they’re not always simple……….or always accessible

Re: 3 things to be grateful for
3 things I’m grateful for are:
- Being able to look for the solutions when problems present. The weekend threw up a lot of challenges and got VERY frustrating but not getting resentful about the problems really helped
- People offering help. I’ve finally got Covid after almost three years and a number of people have reached out to offer help which has just made me feel good……….and grateful
- Mum coming over to look after my daughter last weekend so I could go to the Guns n’ Roses concert after some plans fell through

Three things I’m grateful for today are…………
- Being able to sit in some recent uncomfortability and starting to come through the other side without drugs or alcohol
- Being able to start recent renovations and get to the next stage
- I never thought I’d say this………..an electric blanket in December!!

Re: 3 things to be grateful for
This week I'm grateful for
1. Spending time with my family! They live far away so it can be difficult to catch up so it's extra nice to see each other!
2. Some sunshine, it's been awful in Melbourne so it is so nice to see the sun
3. Having a few days feeling well after being unwell for a while, you always take the good days for granted so I'm trying to be more conscious and celebrate the times when I'm feeling good!
How about everyone else?
